Game Day Central VBS 2007

2007 was the first year I came back to run media at New Hope‘s Vacation Bible School, Game Day Central, after I stopped working as their Media Director. During the week I have a variety of responsibilities including

Designing a themed VBS website for the week, along with daily blog updates summarizing the days’ happenings
Daily photos of all events happening at VBS
In charge of sound, PowerPoint and video projection during each days’ opening, closing and music times
Led a team of student volunteers who produced a newscast each day for the website, featuring interviews with kids and teachers
Videography of all VBS events in order to produce a wrap-up video of the week
In charge of all media for Friday night’s closing program

The pre-preparation, work each day at VBS and wrap-up every evening are a huge undertaking, but the week was a success and lots of fun. Check out the VBS website to see photos and videos from the week, and watch our “Halftime Show” video below.

Forget What You Know

This video was produced for one of New Hope‘s Worship Encounters to accompany the Caedmon’s Call song “Forget What You Know”. It’s based off the line in the song “the past can be like sidewalk chalk if you will dance and pray for rain”.

New Hope Prize Patrol

New Hope‘s Ministry of the Month was the library. We were trying to come up with an interesting way to remind people that New Hope did in fact have a library, and that people should be using it. Since having someone stand and talk for two minutes can be boring, we came up with this instead.
